Sridhar Aiyangar is the Founder cum Chairman and Managing Trustee of “Make a Difference Foundation”.

Sridhar believes that each one of us can make a big difference to our community in our own small way and when we come together, we can make a much bigger impact. Little drops maketh the Ocean. One doesn’t need to be wealthy or rich to help someone and make a difference to someone’s life. There are many who are struggling to get one proper meal every day. When we come together we can “Make A Difference” to people’s lives in a sustainable manner.

Each one of us has the capacity to give. All one needs is a sense of compassion for the needy and a willingness to give, no matter how small the amount they can afford to give.

Sridhar strongly believes in giving back to the community to help social mobility that is so essential for broad based economic development. By supporting the weaker sections of the society with education and training we can create the path for sustainable socio-economic advancement. Sridhar is a Senior Banker who is passionate about “Making a Difference” to people lives.

Ramaswamy Rangachari has been actively associated with numerous community development initiatives and programmes during the last ten years in one of the suburbs of Chennai covering infrastructure, civic issues, education and hygiene for the underprivileged section of the society. His contribution in providing pucca roads, street lights with LED bulbs, effective garbage management with focus on zero waste management in a community of nearly three thousand residents has been recognised by the State Govt.

He has received awards from the State Govt for two years in a row for his advisory services and active role in the infrastructure development of the locality. During the last two years or so, he has been assisting MADF in their activities in the area of education. Currently, he is handling the operational aspects of MADF Trust.

A Chemical Engineer by qualification, Ramaswamy has been a career banker with nearly forty years of experience in commercial and investment banking in India and abroad.

Arun, an engineer with Masters in Business Administration, with over two decades in International Business is married to Viji & blessed with a son.

Arun, an active member of GCS, in his tenure as their International Youth Secretary, was instrumental in planting of over 10 Million tree saplings in India. Arun is an avid traveller, a music critic, loves meeting people and being happy in life.

Arun strongly believes in giving back to the society.

Rema Arunachalam is a senior publishing professional and an educationist. She has helped create and publish several path-breaking print and digital products for schools. She has over 17 years of teaching experience and has taught English and Social Studies in schools in Indonesia and India. She has also been a coordinator for the International Baccalaureate.

Rema is actively involved in teacher training and has conducted several workshops in India and overseas. Her rich teaching experience has helped her immensely in her current role of creating top-notch products for schools.

Empowerment of women is also another focus area and Rema has strived towards giving women more opportunities to nurture and attain their true potential.

Rema is passionate about diversity and inclusion and has steered this successfully at the workplace. This is also something that drives the programmes at MADF as more inclusion creates better societies.

Harshni Sreedhar is a sales professional who has been part of a core team of a successful start-up. She currently works for the Asia Pacific team at a prominent Fortune 500 company.

Harshni is actively involved in helping victims of domestic abuse & is a part of myriad environmental initiatives. She is also a mentor for early stage start-ups and young sales professionals.

An avid sports fan, she strongly believes in making sport available to children of all strata of the society at a grassroots level. Harshni loves history and traveling to historic sites.
